The President’s Address to the 50th Synod of the Diocese of Melbourne Wednesday 19 October 2011

The Most Reverend Dr Philip Freier Archbishop of Melbourne.  I welcome you to the Second Session of the 50th Synod of the Diocese of Melbourne. I acknowledge the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations, the traditional custodians of this land, and I pay tribute to those who have gone before us, from our beginning as a diocese in 1847 to the present day.

As we reflect on the first year of implementing the Vision and Strategic Directions, and on other matters which properly concern us as the Anglican Diocese of Melbourne, let us reflect on what God would have us do, in godly responses to all that is before us. MORE
